21 French citizens killed by Hamas – French French Ministry

France mourns the tragic deaths of another two French nationals, which brings to 21 the toll of French victims of the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas against Israel.

We extend our condolences to their loved ones and are in contact with the families and the Israeli authorities to lend them our full support in this ordeal.

Eleven compatriots are still reported missing.

Several of them are very likely to be hostages of Hamas. This is the case for one female national, whose vile presentation by Hamas in a video France condemns.

We are in constant touch with all the families of our nationals who are missing or being held hostage. The Minister met the families in Tel Aviv on Sunday. She assured them of the State’s total mobilization to clarify the situation of their loved ones and secure their immediate release if they are being held hostage.
